Your tasks

IOT TECHNICIAN / HARDWARE SPECIALIST (M/F/D)
Hardware ecosystem management

• You are responsible for our cross-industry hardware portfolio - from classic vehicle telematics to industrial IoT sensors and edge computing devices
• Configuration and integration of telematics and IoT hardware
• Evaluation of new hardware technologies for various industries (production, logistics, healthcare, smart cities)

Customer support & project management

• Cross-sector customer consulting for IoT solutions in various industries
• Carry out and present proof-of-concept projects independently
• Training and workshops for customers on new IoT technologies
• Supporting the sales team with technical issues

Innovation & Research

• Identify and develop new IoT use cases
• Driving forward pilot projects with innovative hardware solutions

Requirements

Technical expertise

• Basic knowledge of electronics (preferably vehicles and construction machinery, optionally industrial systems)
• Interest in IoT protocols and industrial communication (CAN-BUS, Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, LoRaWAN)
• Affinity for cloud platforms and edge computing concepts

Personal characteristics

• Curiosity about different industries and their specific IoT requirements
• Desire for technological diversity - from satellite communication to industrial gateways
• Structured way of working, even for complex, cross-sector projects
• Strong communication skills for advising different customer groups
• Personal initiative in the development of new IoT application fields
