Postdoctoral Position in Intravoxel Incoherent Motion (IVIM) MRI (m/f/d)

We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher position at the University Hospital Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany. The position is fully funded through a three-year project supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Your tasks:

• Development of MRI-sequences and evaluation methods
• MRI-scans of phantoms and human subjects
• Evaluation of measured MRI data
• Publication of results in scientific journals with quality assurance

Qualifications:

• PhD in MRI physics, medical physics, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field
• Ideally, prior experience in IVIM and/or diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)
• Strong interest in method development and translational research
• Ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team
• Very good command of English; German is not required
