Then come and join our team as EHS Office (f/m/d) for Diagnostic Imaging (DI) to provide EHS leadership, strategic direction, and reporting to Diagnostic Imaging Executive/Senior Management, Business Lines and primary location EHS Officers, internal Business Partners, Employees and Customers.
Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You will maintain and optimize the effectiveness and adequacy of the EHS Management System. You will prepare & perform annual EHS management review with DI Senior Management.
You will drive the development and support the implementation of appropriate EHS and sustainability-related targets (both: top down from SHS HR EHS and bottom up from DI organization) within the affected organization to make DI a Great/Safe/Healthy/Sustainable Place to Work, to contribute to overarching SHS-wide EHS objectives and to continuously improve EHS performance.
You will support the synergetic alignment of cross-functional topics such as e. g. PREP, Eco-Design, Circularity, EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS to avoid redundancies and ensure lean implementation/execution. Support the definition of appropriate processes and tools and incorporate activities in the EHS management system.
You will act as a conduit and interface for overarching PREP topics within DI for topics for which coordination on a BA level is required and synergetic.
You will drive consistency in how EHS Management is implemented at DI globally (e. g. Targets, Programs, Communication, Audits, Training, Operational Control). For the DI Business Lines D&A, IBD and DI Functions, with mainly office workplaces, the DI EHS Officer serves as BL EHS Officer.
You will be the face and voice of EHS for Executive/Senior Management at DI and adequately inform, consult and educate Executive/Senior Management to flourish EHS culture in a positive direction.
You will monitor significant incidents to assure learnings are shared and appropaite improvements are implemented.
You will collaborate with EHS officers and organizations of other BAs, Horizontals, TE and Regions to share Best Practices and leverage synergies.
You will collaborate with SHS SUST and QT PQ PEP on an as needed basis.
You will be a Member of the Global EHS Management Team.
You will drive EHS people development (incl. development plans, succession) and EHS organizational development in DI.
You will act as a change management agent as needed to ensure the EHS function adapts to business changes as applicable and appropriate.

Your qualifications and experience:
You have a university degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, EHS, Physics or comparable - master’s degree preferred.
You have many years of professional experience within EHS including experience of leading international (EHS) teams in a complex matrix organization
You have many years of proven leadership experience.
You have extensive experience with ISO14001/ISO 45001 management system implementation & maintenance.
You have experience with Product-related Environmental Protection, Sustainability, EU Taxonomy, EU CSRD/ESRS
A CSP and/or CIH and/or internal auditor qualification is desirable
Your attributes and skills:
You have fluent English language skills (verbal & written), German is a plus
You have proven experience with working in different cultural context.
You have excellent communication and influencing skills to closely collaborate across different functions and levels
You are initiating and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders and potential partners to advance business goals
