Then join our global Legal & Compliance team as a Senior Professional Export Control and Customs (f/m/d) for Strategy and Reviews and contribute to the future success of the business unit with strong analytical and monitoring skills.
Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You will use your export control and customs expertise, you will conduct regular review and monitoring activities in a global organization to identify potential risk areas and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance.
You will identify, analyze and monitor all risks associated with ECC in compliance with defined Risk and Internal Control (RIC) monitoring requirements.
You will be responsible for the enforcement of the ICP (Internal Control Program); in addition, monitor business activities and develop strategies to ensure compliance with ICP and local laws/requirements.
You will perform internal audits in accordance with ECC requirements. You will be responsible for conducting and analyzing the results and creating the required actions in the ECC MIA tool.
You will oversee the implementation of defined remediation actions to address identified deficiencies.
You will deveop methods and standards in the area of reviews to support the global ECC organization.
You will ensure the implementation of standardized export and customs processes and work instructions with adaptation to specific business requirements.
You will be responsible for the Project management of the development and implementation of the internal review and monitoring tool, functional/technical support of future change request implementations, administration and business support.
Your qualifications and experience:
You have a university degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field
You have many years of professional experience in the areas of export control, customs management and compliance with these regulations
Several years of additional auditing experience is an advantage
You have a very sound knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
You have demonstrably very strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have very good IT skills in the MS Office package, in particular PowerPoint, Excel and SAP
Do you already have many years of sound professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but no degree? Then we also look forward to receiving your application.
Your attributes and skills:
You have a very good command of English and German (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
You have very strong organizational, project management and communication skills.
You demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills at all organizational levels and are self-motivated
You enjoy working in a globally distributed team and are highly motivated and forward thinking
You are able to work independently and prioritize conflicting demands with challenging workloads
You have strong analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills
You have a good understanding of business processes and are fascinated by new and innovative projects in the ECC area
